Zoia Birmingham

Zoia is a bright, bubbly and outgoing person with a very conscientious character and excellent communication skills.  She has an unmistakable zest for life, which communicates well on film and in real life. People identify with her and she is therefore a perfect candidate for presenting and acting jobs of all genres.

Currently an ice-skating coach at Queensway Ice Rink, London this has given her the ability to make people around her feel at ease.  She is extremely good with children and her vivacious and likeable nature would make her a favourite with the viewing public. Zoia was also one of the thirty people chosen out of thousands to win a Multi Media award from the Millennium Commission to study Professional Journalism skills at the BBC.

Zoia is proud to be the first ever afro Caribbean person to compete in the British Ice Dance Championships.  Her highest ranking was fifth place.  She has represented Great Britain in various national and international competitions, being the most televised competitor in the British squad of that time after Torvill & Dean.  She has appeared on BBC1, Carlton television (documentary about herself). Euro sport and Live TV.  She is also a qualified ice-skating coach, teaching children and adult of all ages. Apart From preparing her skater to skate at competition level, Zoia has also taught a number of celebrities to ice skate.
